ABOUT THE PRODUCT

LI 28 (Lithium Stearate) is the lithium salt of stearic acid.

This metallic soap, in the form of a fine white powder, is used in high-temperature greases, and as a lubricant and mold release agent in the plastics and rubber industries.

It is insoluble in water, heat-resistant, and exhibits water-repellent properties.

APPLICATION AREA

• Acts as a mold release agent, allowing thermoplastics to be easily removed from molds.

• Used when a lubricant with a high melting point is required.

• As a lubricant, it reduces friction during processing and improves ease of manufacturing.

• Provides thermal stability, enhancing product performance at high temperatures.

• Improves surface quality, giving gloss and smoothness.

• Its moisture-protective property helps extend product shelf life.

It varies depending on the formulation, processing conditions and product type.

PACKAGING

The product is packaged in 20 kg PP or kraft bags or, upon request, in 1000 kg big bags.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used. It is recommended to wear a mask, protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
